The deputy president assumed his work

As of February 23, 2025, the Deputy President of Kenya is Kithure Kindiki. He assumed office on November 1, 2024, following the impeachment of his predecessor, Rigathi Gachagua, on charges including corruption and incitement of ethnic divisions. Prior to his current role, Kindiki served as the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration. His appointment came after a series of legal challenges, but the High Court eventually lifted orders barring his swearing-in, allowing him to officially take on the role of Deputy President.
